F.O.T.D. Game Night 2 @ Good Times on the Ave - 1st of the Day

FOTD GAME NIGHT 2 @ Good Times on the Ave

Opening Statement

I walked in later than usual, to a packed house, gathered up the confidence to address everyone and introduce myself; as this was a rare occasion for me to have the undivided attention of my FOTD Family prior to the start of an event. I relished the opportunity to speak about the brand and its origin. Our new attendees were enlightened by my message, learning the true meaning of “1st of the Day.”

Moment of the Night

Upon starting the next game, Black Card Revoked (BCR), I noticed the change in the atmosphere. As the drinks started to flow and the excitement gained momentum it became tough to proceed with the games.  Guests grouped up having side conversations, laughing loudly, and enjoying themselves. There were mini parties on each side of the room. As I went around the room asking BCR questions and looking for the guests to respond, noise consumed the room. After failed attempts to soften the commotion, I knew it was time to do something to grab their attention. “SHUT THE FUCK UP!” I playfully yelled.  This had everyone in shock, but quiet for a moment. The ladies looked at me with a blank stare and shouted in unison, “Who you talking to?” As we laughed and understood it was a joke, that became the funniest moment of the night.

Under the Influence

We played the traditional 1st of the Day icebreaker, the DOO DOO Game, which everyone loved. Under the Influence, a drinking game filled with an assortment of challenges and surprises was the game of the night. Guests had to answer some outrageous questions and complete wild dares or take a shot. Now you know why the party turned up so fast, lol! This is not your typical lame game night, we do things a little different.
